Owned and operated by Anja, a true animal lover, that is concerned about every pet's happiness. She strongly supports the holistic, intuitive and homeopathic approach of working with pets.

In 2012, she completed her studies in Intuitive Animal Communication with the Animal Spirit Network and became a Reiki Master in 2014. In previous years, she supported animal rescues with grooming and boarding needs, which now has been taken over by her own rescue organization. Anja comes from a dog trainer family. She was lucky to observe her grandfather train many dogs for the military. She strongly believes every dog should be given a chance and will give her best to help with behavioral issues so you can enjoy your companion. Her one-on-one attention makes your pet feel great while in her care. Since 2008, she's dreamt of creating a nature setting for owner and pets to enjoy.

In 2016, Anja fulfilled her dream and expanded the business to include small scale dog boarding at her 5-acre homestead on the west side of Elgin. She also set up a fitness path and agility playground for her customers to enjoy. The space is also available for rent on the Sniffspot app.

Doggy Has It is licensed and insured, affiliated with the Animal Spirit Network and Anja serves as an Approved Humane Investigator with the Department of Agriculture.

Owner and pet stylist, Anja holds a diploma in the professional pet grooming arts, but has shifted her time to daycare, boarding and training to better serve her clients.
